From September 1, 2022, inspectors must ensure a minimum of 3 months validity for batteries and HRUs during APT for certain VDR models, or the CoC will be withheld until replacement.

Agents must replace the CPU lithium battery and fan during APT jobs, ensure VDR time syncs with GPS UTC, and document it in the service report to avoid COC suspension. Effective Sept 28, 2020.

Effective May 1, 2019, HMAP-approved acoustic beacon model HLD-ULD601 (Part No. 260500403C0) must be used for specific VDR models, including HLD-VDR 600, HLD-SVDR 600, HLD-B2, and HLD-S2.
