VALIDITY CHECK ON ALL BATTERIES AND HRU DURING ANNUAL PERFORMANCE TEST (APT)
VDR Models: HLD-A2/S/B2/S2/VDR600/SVDR600
Dear Agents and Partners,
Please be informed that with effect of 1st September 2022, all approved inspectors are to ensure that the battery/HRU expiry of the following to have a minimum of 3 months validity at time of APT.
1. Underwater Locating Beacon ULD-601
2. VDR Reserve Power Source
3. FFC Battery
4. FFC HRU
Kindly note that if non-compliance is detected, the CoC will not be issued until the battery/HRU is replaced within 1 month from time of APT.
